weird font boxes

in firefox (but other apps as well)
I get weird boxes for japanese fonts, as well as ;nbsp (or however it goes: the space symbol in html)

Simply means you don't have the supported font / character.

pacman -S ttf-arphic-ukai ttf-arphic-uming

Should be enough.

I had the packages from before. It didn't fix it.

I tried this before too. It's just that I haven't restarted after I've done it, so I thought it didn't fix it.

The problem is solved.
