I have updated the npm package. What should I do to apply my patch?

I have updated the "npm" package from 4.6.1 to 5.0.3, but I don't know what to do to apply my patch.

Nothing. It was flagged out of date less than a week ago and the dev has been busy with a heap of haskell rebuilds.
