Can't set up wireless network

I've done everything as the wiki said: raised up interface and launched wpa_supplicant.
After succesful connection, machine freezes for a couple of seconds and wpa_supplicant gives me this:

wlp2s0: CTRL-EVENT-DISCONNECTED bssid=14:60:80:63:8b:3c reason=4 locally_generated=1

How to fix it? The same algorithm worked perfectly on another computer.

Oh, and after that if i put wlp2s0 down and try to raise it up again, it would remain down. Dunno if it helps.
This computer has RTL8821AE wireless adapter, dunno if it helps too.

Re: Can't set up wireless network

Please post the exact commands used and their verbatim output (e.g., what output indicated that wlp2s0 remained down).  Also please post the output of `rfkill list`.

Re: Can't set up wireless network

Lots on the net about issues w/this driver on linux.  I'd read through this: https://www.linuxquestions.org/question … 175580780/ .  It looks like some folks managed to get a stable connection working on Linux Mint: https://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?t=194001 .
