[Solved] Krita - flake - "the context stack is not empty" after upgrad

I recently did a sysupgrade. Since that Krita cannot open its own files. The only clue I get is the following line in console:

krita.lib.flake: the context stack is not empty (current count 1 , expected 0)

I talked to the Krita devs already, they have no idea, and Krita works for them (on non-Arch systems) and they can't help any further. So I assume the issue is on the Arch side.

Sadly, I don't have the kind of time to start regression testing all packages to figure out where does it break...

I tried building older commits of Krita that used to work for me and they produce the same error, so it isn't a regression in their code.
The "flake" package wasn't installed before (yet Krita worked), now I installed it but that didn't change anything.

Anyone experiencing the same or have an idea where to look?

Thanks in advance!

Damn... downgraded my Arch to the snapshot of 2017/07/01 which was the last time I upgraded before this one, but the error persists...

Re: [Solved] Krita - flake - "the context stack is not empty" after upgrad

Good news!

Finally one of the Krita devs encountered this error too so they could look into it. It was a bug in the dev versions I used, fixed now!

In case anyone in the future finds this thread having a flake error - flake is used in the parts of Krita that deal with vectors (experimental in the pre-alpha for now) so if you get a flake error in Krita it has to do with vectors.
