[solved] Switch off screen locking

Running LXQt with kwin I struggle to disable the screen locker. According the wiki I have to change 'Settings/Lock screen before suspending'. This input is disabled on my system (desktop PC, so everything switched off) and I set it to the maximum (99). But that didn't change anything, the screen goes off after 10min netflixing (mplayer keeps the screen alive). I do not have slock or any screensaver installed. What can I do?

Re: [solved] Switch off screen locking

Screenblanking != lockscreen

If you don't have anything that explicitly handles this, the following should help: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Di … _Signaling either way you are looking at the wrong dialog, KWin has nothing to do with dpms

That was the right answer. Thanks a lot. I suggest to add a reference to the wiki.
