How to restore my kernel?

After upgraded the kernel, I find my sound card can't work fine as before.

How to restore my kernel to kernel26-2.6.16.16-1 ?

Re: How to restore my kernel?

well what have you done to try to get it work with the new kernel ?
did you clear out /etc/modprobe.conf of all sound stuff?
what soundcard do you have?

but if you really want

pacman -U /var/cache/pacman/pkg/kernel26-2.6.16.16-1 ?

that is if that kernel package has not been removed from your cache

Re: How to restore my kernel?

let me guess, you used alsaconf for soundcard setup?
clean your modprobe.conf from alsa entries.
never use alsaconf if you don't need to use it, kernel updates don't like old alsa entries.
