After an -Syu I'm having trouble getting direct rendering working.
Doing LIBGL_DEBUG=verbose glxinfo gives me at the start:
libGL: XF86DRIGetClientDriverName: 8.26.18 fglrx (screen 0)
libGL: OpenDriver: trying /usr/lib/xorg/modules/dri//fglrx_dri.so
libGL error: dlopen /usr/lib/xorg/modules/dri//fglrx_dri.so failed (/usr/lib/xorg/modules/dri//fglrx_dri.so: undefined symbol: _glapi_add_entrypoint2)
libGL error: unable to find driver: fglrx_dri.so
libGL: XF86DRIGetClientDriverName: 8.26.18 fglrx (screen 0)
libGL: OpenDriver: trying /usr/lib/xorg/modules/dri//fglrx_dri.so
libGL error: dlopen /usr/lib/xorg/modules/dri//fglrx_dri.so failed (/usr/lib/xorg/modules/dri//fglrx_dri.so: undefined symbol: _glapi_add_entrypoint2)
libGL error: unable to find driver: fglrx_dri.soGoogle gives me only two links when searching for the undefined symbol bit, and neither are any help.
Suggestions please? ![]()

I'm having the same issue.
Direct rendering was working for me before... then all of a sudden it broke.. perhaps something to do with the driver as it is compiled against the new kernel?

giggidy, many thanks James ![]()
Edit: Not meaning to sound impatient, but since your post was 2+ hours earlier than this one of mine, I'm guessing it's ul'd by now? Or are there problems? An -Sy install of ati-fglrx-utils doesn't give me a new version... I suspect I just need to wait a bit longer, ne? ![]()
