After an -Syu I'm having trouble getting direct rendering working.
Doing LIBGL_DEBUG=verbose glxinfo gives me at the start:
libGL: XF86DRIGetClientDriverName: 8.26.18 fglrx (screen 0)
libGL: OpenDriver: trying /usr/lib/xorg/modules/dri//fglrx_dri.so
libGL error: dlopen /usr/lib/xorg/modules/dri//fglrx_dri.so failed (/usr/lib/xorg/modules/dri//fglrx_dri.so: undefined symbol: _glapi_add_entrypoint2)
libGL error: unable to find driver: fglrx_dri.so
libGL: XF86DRIGetClientDriverName: 8.26.18 fglrx (screen 0)
libGL: OpenDriver: trying /usr/lib/xorg/modules/dri//fglrx_dri.so
libGL error: dlopen /usr/lib/xorg/modules/dri//fglrx_dri.so failed (/usr/lib/xorg/modules/dri//fglrx_dri.so: undefined symbol: _glapi_add_entrypoint2)
libGL error: unable to find driver: fglrx_dri.so
Google gives me only two links when searching for the undefined symbol bit, and neither are any help.
Suggestions please?

I'm having the same issue.
Direct rendering was working for me before... then all of a sudden it broke.. perhaps something to do with the driver as it is compiled against the new kernel?

giggidy, many thanks James
Edit: Not meaning to sound impatient, but since your post was 2+ hours earlier than this one of mine, I'm guessing it's ul'd by now? Or are there problems? An -Sy install of ati-fglrx-utils doesn't give me a new version... I suspect I just need to wait a bit longer, ne?
