I'm not sure when it started, but recently I've had problems playing YouTube videos. Both on a fresh install and a new install, with all of the gst packages installed (plugins-good/bad/ugly). It seems to occur when I have a flash game loaded or have loaded a flash game within the same session. The result is always the YouTube video buffers but doesn't play, until eventually a popup asking if I am having playback issues pops up, only to tell me what the best quality my internet can support is. If I skip to a different part of the video the frame changes but the video continues to load endlessly (sometimes the buffer icon will stay on the screen and other times it will go away, but there is still no playback).
Edit:
Forgot to mention, flashplugin is installed through pacman.

What happens if you use the HTML5 player in YouTube instead of the (Adobe-is -FINALLY-killing-that-thing) Flash plugin?

Does YouTube even have access to the flash player? Anyway, it defaults to HTML5 player, so that is what I am using.

Problem has been resolved! Firefox update 55.0.1, which came out either earlier today or last night, has fixed the problem.
