Disabling CoW for a single folder on btrfs

Hi.
I want to install Windows on a virtual machine. So I need to disable CoW for the directory with VMs, I don't want do disable it for the whole partition.
Wiki article says that it's possible to do so with $ chattr +C /dir/file. I think this can also be done by creating a separate partition with no CoW for my VMs.
Which way is better?

I used chattr to set my VM folder to nocow. It's quicker and easier than repartitioning.

No, it didn't "fix" anything. It just shifted the brokeness one space to the right. - jasonwryan
