resume after sleep blank screen
Hi all,
My new HP laptop is does not resume after sleep. It apears to be working but the screen is black and there is no keyboard or mouse input detected
I am running XFCE DE and have an AMD Radeon graphics. I have installed the latest ati and amdgpu drivers (open source) with mesa but made no difference and have performed full sys upgrade.
There are a few threads with the same issues but they are not running xfce like I am. I just can't seem to solve this problem.

Your desktop environment is probably not relevant (since you claim no input)
See whether the system still responds - preferably on network (echos on ping, ideally you can still ssh in) otherwise to the magic sysrequest
Also check your journal.
