Unfortunetly, upgrading librsvg from version 2:2.40.18-1 -> 2:2.40.18+20+g63ddae4-1 make's my system unable to use svg pictures (including icons). Reinstalling packages using the svg (spacefm, mirage, gtk3 and gdk-pixbuf2) unfortunetly makes no diffrence, and downgrading librsvg repairs the problem.
My question is, if anybody experiences the same problem, and if so, is there any solution to it. I recreate the exact same difficulties in minimal system installed about a month ago (awesomewm) with vanilla settings.
Thank you for any help or insight in this problem.

Re: [Solved with newest version] Problem with librsvg update

After today update with

[2017-10-06 22:13] [ALPM] upgraded linux (4.13.3-1 -> 4.13.4-1)
[2017-10-06 22:13] [ALPM] upgraded xorg-server (1.19.3-3 -> 1.19.4-1)
[2017-10-06 22:13] [ALPM] upgraded mesa (17.2.1-3 -> 17.2.2-1)
[2017-10-06 22:13] [ALPM] upgraded gtk3 (3.22.21-1 -> 3.22.24-1)
[2017-10-06 22:13] [ALPM] upgraded glib2 (2.52.3-1 -> 2.54.1-1)
[2017-10-06 22:13] [ALPM] upgraded gdk-pixbuf2 (2.36.9-1 -> 2.36.11-1)
[2017-10-06 22:13] [ALPM] upgraded gtk-update-icon-cache (3.22.21-1 -> 3.22.24-1)
[2017-10-06 22:13] [ALPM] upgraded librsvg (2:2.40.18-1 -> 2:2.40.19-1)
[2017-10-06 22:13] [ALPM] upgraded adwaita-icon-theme (3.24.0-1 -> 3.26.0-1)

problem still remains, which bugging me alot.
Executing gdk-pixbuf-query-loaders shows that my system sees proper loader (i think):

"/usr/lib/gdk-pixbuf-2.0/2.10.0/loaders/libpixbufloader-svg.so"
"svg" 6 "gdk-pixbuf" "Scalable Vector Graphics" "LGPL"
"image/svg+xml" "image/svg" "image/svg-xml" "image/vnd.adobe.svg+xml" "text/xml-svg" "image/svg+xml-compressed" ""
"svg" "svgz" "svg.gz" ""
" <svg" "*    " 100
" <!DOCTYPE svg" "*             " 100

As before, downgrading to version 2:2.40.18-1 of librsvg totally repairs the problem (output of gdk-pixbuf-query-loaders is exactly the same, irregardless of version. Can anyone could post the output of this command on working (capable of displaying .svg images) system with newest librsvg version?

Edit: After desperate attempt to check what files were changed or removed between packages i have saw at Arch Linux Archive, that current version of librsvg is 2:2.41.0-1. After installing it everything works again.
Looks like i will have to choose faster updated mirrors. Nonetheless the sun is rising again big_smile
