VICE - 'File dialog window' scaling not working

Hallo,
i have problems with the packages 'vice' and 'vice-gtkglext'. When i start the program ('x64') and press alt-8 there are three columns. The center one is too small (in width) but i cannot scale the window. Whenever i try to grab one of the window edges it just moves the window. On 'vice' i can resize the sub-columns (name, size..) that also resizes the parent window (if moved far enough) but the problem is it cannot be made smaller then.

Any ideas what's wrong here? Is this an xfce or vice bug?

Arch 4.12.13
xfce
nouveau
vice 3.1-1
vice-gtkglext 3.1-1

Please post a screenshot or video of the problem. Also, what's your display resolution?

Display resolution is 1600x1200. It's way larger than the window needs to be.

I can make a picture in several hours earliest. In the meantime you can try it yourself by just pressing alt-8.
