I'm trying to use scanmem (via Game Conqueror) to tweak some of the variables in The Escapists. I connect to the pid for "The Escapists/run.sh" and then enter the value for, for example, my intellect (say 50). It returns with way more than >1 values. I browse the internet in game, which increases my intellect by 1. I enter 51 as the search value - and, every single time, it returns 0 results. I've tried other variables than intellect, but it's always the same result.
Any ideas on if/how this is fixable?

Sounds like you're attaching scanmem to a startup script when you really want to attach it to the game's process. If you're having trouble finding it, try htop or something (sort by RAM / CPU might do it). Good luck!
