Video Card showing as "Unknown"

This only started happening recently and I am not entirely sure why. My laptop is connected to an external monitor via HDMI. Visually it works but when I load up a video on youtube from any browser, it shows that it has completed buffering but stutters. The sound also stopped working.

Checking on my details page, it showed "Unknown" as my graphics card.

Running lspci -k | grep -EA3 'VGA|3D|Display'
resulted in:
VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 4th Gen Core Processor Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 06)
Subsystem: CLEVO/KAPOK Computer 4th Gen Core Processor Integrated Graphics Controller
    Kernel driver in use: i915
    Kernel modules: i915

Is there anything else I need to install or check on? Thanks!

Welcome to the forums dashpatterns smile

What's this 'details page' you speak of? I have no such thing on my Arch installation.

No, it didn't "fix" anything. It just shifted the brokeness one space to the right. - jasonwryan
