Bluetooth - a device isn't detected

hello,

a bluetooth device (Sony GTK-XB5 speaker) isn't detected by Arch Linux. the other devices are detected. a Windows computer and a cell phone detect the GTK-XB5 speaker. but at least 1 cell phone don't detect the GTK-XB5 speaker.

this is the problem from the begining:

i installed Arch Linux on a friend laptop (ASUS R510L). the bluetooth hardware is a Broadcom BCM43142 (it manages wifi also). this is the result of sudo lspci -vvv for this hardware:

i saw that this hardware needs a firmware flash, as it is explain here:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Bl … com_device
...to connect to bluetooth devices. so i did it, and it works indeed.

except that this GTK-XB5 speaker isn't detected yet.

with a Windows computer i saw the adress of this speaker: fc:a8:9a:44:5a:44

on the archlinux.org wiki i saw that some "bluetooth low energy" devices aren't detected, and a solution is given:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Bl … up_in_scan
so i installed bluez-utils-compat instead of bluez-utils, and i followed the solution given, but this speaker isn't detected yet...

do you have ideas, suggestions, explanations, tests to do, ...?
