On my laptop with nvidia optimus and an external monitor connected with HDMI, SDDM has a delay (more than 10 seconds) that does not permit to quickly insert the password or to choose the guest.
It is as if the mouse clicks are rejected (even if the mouse movements are correct) in the first seconds after the login screen has appeared.
How can I investigate and solve the problem?
Is it a known issue or bug?

It seems it is not time related, but that the password field and user icon "activate" only after some mouse clicks.
Does the same happen to someone else?
