Question kernel 4.13.8

is the problem of the early 4.13's with the iommu disable workaround now fixed? I'm not able to lookup the information I want to see.

Since 4.13.5 and most threads where that was discussed do make a mention of that. Where were you looking for information? In any case, look at package changelogs to see if any configuration changes have been made, which would lead you to https://git.archlinux.org/svntogit/pack … 3bcf1beba9
