[SOLVED] newsboat Error while retrieving rss feed Timeout was reached

Hey guys!

I replaced newsbeuter with newsboat and it gives constant error. On every feed.

Error while retrieving https://www.farnamstreetblog.com/feed: Timeout was reached

Any ideas what might be the reason?

Edit: I edited the config file

#use-proxy	yes
proxy		localhost:3128

and added

proxy-type socks5

and it is working.

Can you fetch those feeds using curl or wget.

I marked it solved but it seems the problem for newsboat is the proxy
wget gets the feed, curl - also
