Don't bump your post with an empty post. https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Co … ct#Bumping

You aren't playing anything back in that output, what are you using to test? What's the output of

pacmd list-sink-inputs

during attempted playback?

Re: No sound, however in pulse volume control, the volume is all way up.

To rule out the obvious, sound is enabled in whatever you are playing from? According to that output it should work as well, can you share a terminal output of

dmesg
amixer -c0

and maybe chromium during attempted playback?

Re: No sound, however in pulse volume control, the volume is all way up.

Since your sound problems look very similar to mine, you perhaps should check if you updated your kernel to 4.13.11-1 before your audio output broke.  For me, switching to lts kernel brought back sound.

Re: No sound, however in pulse volume control, the volume is all way up.

@fspreck it shouldn't™ be the same issue, there was a change regarding jack detection in the snd_hda_intel module which lead to your issue, we have the snd_usb_audio module here, which didn't change, might be worth a try nonetheless

Re: No sound, however in pulse volume control, the volume is all way up.

Another update

Sound was back yesterday, but it disappear again today.

I tried both LTS and the latest kernel, no luck...

[jun@Arch ~]$ amixer -c0
Simple mixer control 'IEC958',0
  Capabilities: pswitch pswitch-joined
  Playback channels: Mono
  Mono: Playback [on]
Simple mixer control 'IEC958',1
  Capabilities: pswitch pswitch-joined
  Playback channels: Mono
  Mono: Playback [on]
Simple mixer control 'IEC958',2
  Capabilities: pswitch pswitch-joined

  Mono: Playback [on]

The USB Audio interface works perfect under windows...
