Touchpad and Keyboard issues

Hey folks,

I have a strange issue with my touchpad in Cinnamon. I can neither click by tapping nor scroll with my touchpad. This issue doesn't occur in GNOME and also not in the login manager.

Also when I want to delete text by holding the backspace button, the deletion process stops at some point. It deletes like 5 letters and then stops. This issue occurs in GNOME and Cinnamon.

When I am in the console using e.g. yaourt and want to scroll up the list of packages. The cursor always jumps down to the button within a second.

I think that this has something to do with X, but I am not sure.

Please tell my which outputs to post!

Cheers

Re: Touchpad and Keyboard issues

Okay, I uninstalled synaptics and am using xf86-input-libinput now. The touchpad issue is gone now, but the keyboard issue persists.
