(archiso)locale-gen fail

Hi,

i am trying to build a custom arch live disk but the - fails with this error message:

Generating locales...
  en_US.UTF-8...cannot map archive header: Invalid argument

This is a unmodified "releng" template.

Can someone help me to solve this problem?
