When I plug in earphones which have a dedicated mic, pulseaudio automatically switches to the external mic. When using the external mic,
sounds in the output stream (what I can hear from the earphones) can be heard in the input stream.
To be more clear, if I am calling someone, and at the same time I'm listening to music or watching a video , recipient can hear my music or video.
I'm quite sure this does not occur on the same machine with Windows, so I thought there might be something with pulseaudio.
I know that i can switch back to the internal microphone to avoid the problem, but does anyone have an idea of what's happening?
PS. I already had a look on pulseaudio troubleshooting page, without success.
I'm using pulseaudio-11.1-1, but this problem occurs since early 2017.
