[SOLVED] Wifi stopped working after latest update

Hi
I run full system update today and my wifi will not connect anymore. The update did not seem to have any packages directly related to network or wifi. My previous update was 4 days back but everything worked fine.

Re: [SOLVED] Wifi stopped working after latest update

Hi

it was Kernel related. The 4.9.62-1 brakes the wifi.

What kernel version are you running? Please show us the output if:

pacman -Qs linux

and

uname -a

Re: [SOLVED] Wifi stopped working after latest update

On startup the wifi doesn't work. After suspend it starts up without any issues.

uname -a
Linux xps 4.9.62-1-lts

Re: [SOLVED] Wifi stopped working after latest update

I have broadcom-wifi, that doesn't work after suspend on my Dell-laptop. I have downgraded networkmanager to 1.8.4-1 and the wifi works again after suspend... (linux 4.9-63-1.ts)

Don't bump solved threads.

Connect manually and determine where it is failing. And if you have to open a new thread, learn how to use code tags:
