AUR Staruml package override all text files preferences

Hello, it's my first time posting so i don't know if i should have create a comment or a Topic

When I install the package
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/staruml
the installation is a success, but it overrides my default text editor (kate).
(when I open a .txt, or any source file for example it opens staruml and it's not expected )
i tried looking in the pkbuild for responses but I found anything

The bad stuff most probably happens in the desktop file or the profile.

If you are using kde, then you should be able to define the default applications and file assocications somewhere in the system settings.
