Yesterday I decided to try uzbl-browser just for fun. When I start is, it bloats some messages, and stops doing anything useful. I can type is pages, but nothing happens, stops at 10%. The bloat:
(uzbl-core:1038): Gtk-WARNING **: Failed to set text '<markup><span font_family="monospace"><span foreground="#666">uri:</span> <span foreground=""></span></span></markup>' from markup due to error parsing markup: Value of 'foreground' attribute on <span> tag on line 1 could not be parsed; should be a color specification, not ''
(uzbl-core:1038): Gtk-WARNING **: Failed to set text '<markup><span font_family="monospace"><span foreground="#666">proxy:</span> <span foreground="cyan"></span> <span foreground="#666">uri:</span> <span foreground=""></span></span></markup>' from markup due to error parsing markup: Value of 'foreground' attribute on <span> tag on line 1 could not be parsed; should be a color specification, not ''
The last warning follows some hundred times. May I missed something?

I have the same problem. Lots of Gtk warning and no page displayed, loading seems to stop at 10%.
An issue is open on Github: https://github.com/uzbl/uzbl/issues/397, and a bug request on Arch: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/57176.
Apparently a problem with the JavaScript context. No yet solved.
