Hello Arch Forums,
I'm currently trying to get an emulator (I've tried mgba-qt, vbam-gtk, vbam-git, vbam-sdl, and vbam-wx) to work on my machine (a few other pieces of software have done this as well including freecad and pymol) and with all of these programs I kept getting the same error:
X Error of failed request: BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)
Major opcode of failed request: 154 (GLX)
Minor opcode of failed request: 24 (X_GLXCreateNewContext)
Value in failed request: 0x0
Serial number of failed request: 35
Current serial number in output stream: 36
The twist here is that my DE (i3-gaps-next-git), waterfox, etc all work with no problems, and I don't get any screen tearing or problems when connecting new monitors etc.
Now, I've installed mesa-demos and attempted to run glxinfo with the exact same output as shown above. I spent some time on the discord server for some live tech support help, but to no avail, so I'm submitting this here.
The suggested solutions thus far have been: install intel-ucode (was already installed), reinstall mesa and xorg, reinstalling the xf86-video-intel driver. I will attach Xorg.0.log, the output of dmesg, and the coredump from the software I was trying. I really hope you guys can help me get this fixed because there is a LOT of software that has had this issue for me. If there is anything else you need please let me know! Thank you so much for your help!

P.S.
I run the following graphics card
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 2nd Generation Core Processor Family Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 09) on a Thinkpad T420
Solution: Reinstalling every package on my machine with pacman -Qnq | pacman -S - worked like a charm. I did it on a whim though, didn't have any reason to think it would work.
