Setting up Razer BlackWidow Ultimate 2013

So I'm in the process of going from windows to Arch, I have some linux experaince with RHEL/Ubuntu but wanted to learn more about linux. I managed to get most of the import things setup but for the life of me I can not get my existing razer keyboard fully functional. I did read though the wiki and after some bumps managed to get the openrazer-meta(AUR) and razergenie(AUR) installed and running. I was hoping this would give me the ability to map the M keys to things like media funtions or scripts. However while razergenie can see both keyboard and mouse the keyboard screen is completly blank, can't even ajust the lighting. On the mouse all I have is DPI/Polling and light so I *think* openrazer is installed correctly. At this point I do not know where to go. I decided to user openrazer as I do also have a razer mouse(ouroboros) that I would like to get the extra keys set up for as well, but one step at a time so keyboard first.

TLDR: What are possible causes razergenie has zero options for BlackWidow Ultimate 2013?

Here is the razer_mount info if its helpfull.

Related? https://github.com/openrazer/openrazer/issues/457

Have you tried the alternatives mentioned in the wiki e.g. https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ra … _keyboards?

Re: Setting up Razer BlackWidow Ultimate 2013

So over time, I managed to make some progress. First off the blackwidow control option didn't work and the others do not list my keyboard as compatible. But after digging through the openrazer documentation and forgoing the Gui tool recommend for openrazer I now have the M keys working and am able to assign them using Plasma's system settings. However, now it seems that some of keys on my mouse and on my keyboard are sharing the same keycodes so when I hit one of my mouse buttons it triggers whatever I have bound to M3. How would I change the extra keys on either the mouse or keyboard to not both use Launch(9) ?

Edit: for anyone else having this, I had to set the device mode through the command line according to https://github.com/openrazer/openrazer/ … ard-driver
