first of all english isn't my nativ language so i hope i dont get lost in translation while i try to explain my problem and what i have done so far:
i try to get my Wii U Controller to work with every Steam Game which has controller Support. Overall its something weird: Games like Hotline Miami or RogueLegacy are working out of the box but are remapping ABXY in the way the Wii U Pro Controller is working. but that is more a side note than a real problem.
For my testing purpose i used the games Risk of Rain and "12 is better than 6" (cause actually installed right now).
what i have done so far:
even if it don't seems to be not necessary (because its in the kernel) i've installed xwiimote.
i've removed xf86-input-joystick and xf86-input-xwiimote-git
i made the conf file explained in the wiki https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ga … ling_mouse
installed bluez, bluez-plugins, bluez-tools
installed xboxdrv from the AUR and Moltengamepad from Git (https://github.com/jgeumlek/MoltenGamepad)
created a conf for xboxdrv according to https://github.com/dvdhrm/xwiimote/issu … t-35785533
so, here are the problems:
when i don't use anything, i can only play games like mentioned above, but when i start xboxdrv and for my first example "risk of Rain" i can only see that it moves the cursor slightly to the right. but ingame i can do nothing.
But now this is where its getting a little bit interesting: When i start moltengamepad with --mimic-xpad and THEN connect the Wii U Pro Controller with bluetoothctl the Controller acts in the Menu of Risk of Rain as a mouse (no cursor movements) and ingame as controller (like mentioned above: Wii Gamepad Mapping for the xbox buttons!
When i try to start afterwards 12 is better than 6 the controller is not reacting at all besides the right shoulderbuttons and it seems like for the game that there is no controller at all (wants me to use mouse and keyboard)
so i've tried a couple of ways i and i am at my limits right now, i've read the whole wiki page consulted some other sources and everyone is telling the same (use xboxdrv with a config file and everything should work...
and before i forget:
when i connect the controller, nothing new appears in /dev/input/by-path/ but in /dev/input js0 and event19 appear.
