Hi, community!
First of all, sorry for my English.
I have brand new Asus VivoBook 15 X510 with two video adapters, there is onboard Intel and NVidia 940MX.
lspci show me that:
[alex@laptop ~]$ lspci -k | grep -A 2 -E "(VGA|3D)"
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation HD Graphics 620 (rev 02)
Subsystem: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. HD Graphics 620
Kernel driver in use: i915
--
01:00.0 3D controller: NVIDIA Corporation GM108M [GeForce 940MX] (rev a2)
Subsystem: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. GM108M [GeForce 940MX]
Kernel driver in use: nvidia
The problem is, that I can't switch video adapters (in BIOS too, EzMode doesn't allow me to do it, it has no such option at all).
I installed Nvidia drivers (free or not, doesn't matter, I have tries all of them) but my Gnome 3 still use Intel video adapter.
Google shows me how to switch between cards only on Win10 with installed NVidia drivers.
Any ideas, how can I make NVidia works?
Thanks!
