Gnome 3.26 - no notification sound

Hi,
I'm not sure that's a bug or intended but should I get notification sounds in gnome?

I would like to get them, e.g. for a chat-application like Signal, but all I get is this graphical notification which disappears into the super+M menu.

In the gnome notifications settings everything is marked as ON and in the sound settings, there is only an alert-sound option but this is also activated.

Reproduce: Open a terminal an execute:

notify-send 'test'

Expected behavior: Visual- and audio-notification.

What happens: Only visual but no audio-notification.

Can you check if this is what happens for you too? And do you have any ideo how to get audio-notifications?

I'm afraid this is as designed? AFAIK, there's no audio feedback on default notifications.
