[SOLVED]Live chat won't open on multiple sites and multiple browsers..

I can't work this one out...

In Firefox, Chrome and Opera and 'live chat's won't open. They will in Ubuntu and on my mac.

eg gearbest https://www.gearbest.com/about/contact-us.html , iherb iherb live chat

I don't know where to look to find the issue... any pointers welcome!

Thx!

What do you mean by “won't open”?

The first page opens a pop-up window for the chat. Have you disabled pop-ups so that it gets blocked?

pop-ups are enabled. With the gearbest example, clicking does not result in a popup, nothing happens. In the iherb example it opens a blank page.

Re: [SOLVED]Live chat won't open on multiple sites and multiple browsers..

The button “Start Online Chat” on the gearbest page is a link that executes some Javascript to open the popup (and possibly do some further things, haven't checked).

If nothing whatsoever happens, check if Javascript is enabled. Do you have any addons like NoScript, Cookie Managers, ad blocking, privacy managers installed? That webpage relies heavily on third-party stuff, which is prone to get blocked by such tools.

What happens if you run Firefox (concentrating on one browser for now) with a fresh profile, default settings and no addons?
