Gnome 3.26 freezes on me after syu, i downgraded updated applications and uninstalled every extansion.
But still when i log into gnome the new opened windows doesnt show on the panel and then shell becomes unisable, i can onyl move the cursor.
Anyone know how to fix it ?
[SOLUTION]
Downgrade gjs package to V 1.50.2-1
download it from: https://archive.archlinux.org/packages/ … pkg.tar.xz
and install it using
sudo pacman -U file.tar.xz

I am experiencing what sounds like it is related since updating today.
Gnome becomes unresponsive after interaction with the Meta-> left side favourites launcher, moving an item on this list results in loss of response, mouse still moves, cannot get to console.
I have no other machine to attempt remote access, forced to power off/on.
Using i915/Wayland.

EXACTLY the same happens to me...
Is there ANY fix available ? Maybe downgrade something ? Anything ???

Same thing here apparently. Looks like if I open or close my laptop screen, I can switch to TTY. After that if I switch to tty1 with gnome running on wayland, everything starts working again.
EDIT: Downgrading gjs to gjs-1.50.2-1 solves the issue for me.
EDIT2: I think this is the same issue: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/56634

Can you also post logs? may see common packages/errors.
Recent entries from /var/log/pacman.log & 'journalctl -r' may be enough.
The errors I see mention JS ERRORs, is js52 related?

That fixed it for me, thanks.
Edit: Looks like I upgraded gjs yesterday, must not have noticed it then.
