Beyond and vesa-tng

So I've installed kernel26beyond on my laptop so I can use suspend2, and fantastic, it works!  One problem though, my laptop really hates (and I mean really) vesa-tng, so is there a way to force the kernel to use the old style vesa framebuffer instead of vesa-tng?

Cheers,

Chris

Re: Beyond and vesa-tng

The choice of the fb is necessarily fixed in a binary kernel.
However, it is so easy to configure and compile the kernel on your own through abs that this should not regarded as an issue.

Re: Beyond and vesa-tng

I've only just installed Arch Linux (about 4 hours ago), so I am yet to look at ABS (I quite like the look of it, given my Gentoo background), but cheers for the pointer smile
