utf8 and accentuated chars [SOLVED]

hi everyone,

i'm having trouble accentuated chars : i get a double square thing instead of the expected char... i messed around with rc.conf and xorg.conf, but to no avail.
i'd appreciate any help on that one.

As of glibc 2.3.6, glibc does not provide all locales. You must edit /etc/locale.gen and uncomment the locales you want built, then run locale-gen as root.
