Hello,
I use Gnome with proprietary driver from NVIDIA.
A while ago (2 months?), after an update, I started getting a problem in my desktop.
I am able to login (apparently), but after the login, I get a black screen with hthe mouse (that I can move) but can't do anything else.
If I switch to a console (ctrl+alt+F3), I'm able to login and update and everything. Just not start gnome.
I tried to replace the nvidia with nouveau, but the nouveau freezes after the login.
Could someone help me go through this to solve the issue?
If I journalctl the boot, I see the gnome-shell sigfault on libmutter...
Cheers,
Eduardo Jauch
EDIT
KDE Plasma and XFCE works.
