ArchStats Project final release

Hi All,

I'm finally finished with the ArchStats Project. The new home can be found at http://archstats.coding-zone.com/. You can install the client (the statically compiled C version) with pacman from the 'extra' repository (don't forget to sync first).

A note about upgrading: After you install the new archstats client, copy your existing config file (typically $HOME/.archstats.conf) to /etc/archstats/archstats.conf to preserve your existing SYSTEM_UID so that you keep your same stats. If you do not do this, and configure the new client, your system will show up in the stats a new machine.

The new client works (almost) the same as the python client. You should review the instructions at http://archstats.coding-zone.com/ to make sure you know what you're getting into with the new client. The biggest change is that you will probably run the client as 'root' whereas before that wasn't allowed. The change is because of the location of the config file. It made sense that it was a 'system' file and should live in /etc and therefore a regular user shouldn't be able to mess with it. Also, the default location of the config file is embedded into the client code, so I couldn't rely on various locations. If running the client as root makes you uncomfortable, you CAN run it as a normal user; you'll just need to point the client to your config file with the '-c' switch.

Your existing python client will continue to work (as long as it is pointed to the old site "www.coding-zone.com/archstats.phtml"), but I would prefer that everyone wanting to participate update to the new client. I don't want to have to maintain two codebases for the same thing.

Who is running Arch in 2k of RAM? How fast is it? X starts in what, like a day and a half?
