Hi, I'm having some problems with my bluetooth speaker. For some reason, it only connects once after I reboot, and after that, it either says it's connected but not paired or just doesn't connect at all.
Here's the output from when I type "connect [my bluetooth speaker's mac address]" in bluetoothctl
Attempting to connect to [my bluetooth speaker's mac address]
Failed to connect: org.bluez.Error.Failed
I also looked at the output to journalctl and I couldn't find anything (errors or logs) related to Bluetooth devices.
I also tried changing AutoEnable to true in /etc/bluetooth/main.conf, but that didn't do anything.
However, when I use systemctl to see the status for bluetooth.service, I do get an error message
bluetoothd[14225]: RFCOMM server failed for Headset Voice gateway: rfcomm_bind: Address already in use (98
bluetoothd[14225]: RFCOMM server failed for :1.60/Profile/HSPHSProfile/00001108-0000-1000-8000-00805f9b34f
bluetoothd[14225]: 05:6D:09:10:14:B4: error updating services: Device or resource busy (16)
I don't really know what to make of this error since the device isn't paired to anything yet, and when I remove and re add the device, it still doesn't connect. I've also tried pairing several times on Ubuntu and it worked, so it seems like this is a software issue. Anyone have any idea of what to do? Thanks!

Quick update, so far it seems that running "sudo systemctl restart bluetooth.service" seems to be doing the trick. I'll have to try it a couple more times to make sure it's really what's fixing it, but I'll update again. If it is, then does anyone know why I have to restart every time after it disconnects when I suspend my laptop or power off my bluetooth speaker? Thanks!

Mod note: The following command resets all settings contained in dconf. It is most likely overkill, but use at your own discretion. -- WorMzy
Another update: I ran "dconf reset -f /" and it seems to be working now. Haven't rebooted yet, but so far, so good!

Why would you do that? That deletes all of you gnome settings... :-/

I would hope that Arch users know better than to just copy-paste random commands without figuring out what they actually do first, but I'll add a warning above the command and close this old topic now.
