[Solved] FontConfig >12.2.3 causing digits to be displayed wrong

This is actually a problem I've been having for months. I've simply opted to downgrading to 12.2.2.xx and adding fontconfig to pacman's ignore list for all that time.

It seems to only affect GTK+ environments, as seen in this screengrab

Anyone else had this issue?

Solution: Noto Fonts Emoji and an old config file was the culprit. Deleted a section I had previously inserted and it was all good.
It's a while ago since I did it so not sure which config file it was, specifically, but I had overridden default settings.

The digits are from an emoji font (Noto Color Emoji?). Configure fontconfig with a normal font before the emoji font in the precedence list.
