Awesome is not resizing with Xephry So I posted the question on github of awesome. https://github.com/awesomeWM/awesome/is … 1453547395. The below is the content of the question.

The answer i got was
Please report this as a bug to the X.org developers (and leave a link here). What's happening is that the RANDR extension still reports the previous size of the monitors. If I hardcode the use of CRTCs instead of MONITORS, things start working. Sadly, /usr/bin/xrandr apparently cannot print out the MONITOR information....
