After upgrading today, the Blizzard up under Wine would not work anymore and throw me an error that indicates an issue with my graphics driver.
After trying everything that fixed this error for Windows users and some more, I downgraded the nvidia drivers (and the kernel which was required for the driver downgrade) and the problem is gone!
Downgraded:
nvidia-390.25-4-x86_64 > nvidia-387.34-21-x86_64
nvidia-utils-390.25-2-x86_64 > nvidia-utils-387.34-5-x86_64
linux-4.15.1-2-x86_64 > linux-4.14.15-1-x86_64
So what to do now? I'm not sure where should I report what - is this an issue with the nvidia driver? The kernel? Upstream or Arch? Or Wine? I'm just a noob, please help me out.
I previously created a bugreport with Wine already:

From your list of downgrades the big thing that is missing is lib32-nvidia-utils.
This one did lag behind a bit, but should now be correct again. So make a system upgrade ensure that this package is among the updated ones and retry.

Oh damn! I should have realized this...
Indeed all works well now after upgrading. I'm closing my Wine ticket then.
Thank you for your reply!

There appear to be some other issues with this driver as well (I am affected, at least). There's a thread on the nvidia dev forums here:
