[mutter] GNOME shell crashes on leaving fullscreen

So, as stated above, I am having problems with GNOME after recent reinstall, namely random crashes which occur mostly at leaving fullscreen apps.

After doing some research and examining core dumps, it seems like this problem is caused by mutter:

coredumpctl info 2852
           PID: 2852 (gnome-shell)
           UID: 1000 (jchrist)

The video drivers are proprietary nvidia:

# pacman -Q | grep nvidia

lib32-nvidia-utils 390.25-1
nvidia 390.25-9
nvidia-settings 390.25-1
nvidia-utils 390.25-2

uname -a:

Linux logicoma 4.15.2-2-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Thu Feb 8 18:54:52 UTC 2018 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Nouveau gave me the freezes every minute or so, so it is out of the question.

I am unsure of what to do next. Please advice.

Re: [mutter] GNOME shell crashes on leaving fullscreen

I have exactly the same problem with Intel GPUs. I notice that this occurs at the same time of https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=788627 (already fixed). Maybe there are some kind of links?
