In Linux console and in X (urxvt), tmux (in search mode) and in vim pressing and holding 'k' ( 'up' in vi mode) or 'l' ('right' in vi mode) does not trigger autorepeat. 'j' and 'h' trigger autorepeat.
The only config re keys I have is in .xinitrc:
xset r rate 250 22
I can trigger repeated 'k' or 'l' only after double pressing these keys, i.e. pressing-releasing, pressing-holding. This does not happen with 'j' and 'h' keys - pressing and holding once is sufficient to trigger autorepeat. Why?

Actually, pressing and holding 'k' or 'l' in prompt in Linux console also does not trigger autorepeat, so it is not tmux or vim config issue.

Checked stock Mac terminal for this issue. It happens there too. So, not an arch issue.
