my games are choppy/laggy even tho it says 70 FPS (yes i red the wiki)

so i first of all my specs

arch linux 64bit
graphics card: geforce 1050 TI

aand i installed drivers (just like it was said in wiki)

local/lib32-libvdpau 1.1.1-2
local/lib32-nvidia-utils 390.25-1
local/libvdpau 1.1.1+3+ga21bf7a-1
local/nvidia 390.25-10
local/nvidia-utils 390.25-2
local/xf86-video-nouveau 1.0.15-2 (xorg-drivers)

my noavau ID

NV137 (GP107)

and i did after that
nvidia-xconfig

alo did minimal configuration

Section "Device"
        Identifier "Nvidia Card"
        Driver "nvidia"
        VendorName "NVIDIA Corporation"
        BoardName "GeForce GTX 1050 Ti"
EndSection

(i think it wanst neccesary but i did it anyways)

i dont know why its choppy
i have decent processor but dota 2 was never laggy before on  this computer (only in this instance)
did i do something wrong? or is just the driver wrong i downloaded?

Likely related to the general perf issues currently seen - https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=234241

Try to rule those out first.

If you have a desktop compositor, you may also want to try disabling that first.
