Since today xorg crashes minutes after startup with no particular reason.

Seems more like a problem with libinput to me...
Also because I don't have AMD hardware.
I have a ThinkPad T420 w/ Intel i5-2520M.
I also don't have any graphic card with the exception of Intel HD 3000 Mobile integrated with the CPU.

You could use xf86-input-evdev resp. xf86-input-synaptics as a workaround.
