I've followed the wacom tablet section on the wiki, installed input-wacom-dkms from the AUR, installed xf86-input-wacom, yet when I run xsetwacom --list devices it shows nothing. specifically the CTL-472, using KDE, is this tablet supported/how do I make it work?

By default, xorg utilizes libinput and wacom support is also provided by libinput. Does
libinput list-devices
also not list it? It would also be helpful to post the commands the wiki article mentions to verify if a correct driver is loaded and similar.

I have a similar problem, neither xsetwacom nor libinput see my wacom device CTL-490. I tried libwacom-list-local-devices and it sees the tablet. lsusb also has no problem seeing wacom tablet but there is not wacom in /dev/input.
Here are the output of lsusb and libwacom:
$ lsusb
Bus 002 Device 007: ID 056a:033b Wacom Co., Ltd
$ sudo libwacom-list-local-devices

The tablet is working fine on another computer (no hardware problem as it was an issue in another post), on this machine this problem keeps reappearing every time I update the system. I used to be able to fix it by rerunning all the steps of wacom setup but now it doesn't work. I have udev rules and I have a wacom config file in xorg.conf.d. If you can point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it.

I have bought this tabled, but it doesn't worked for me in my Gnome. I turn back and bought another Wacom One tablet, CTL-471. This one works perfectly.
When I bought the CTL-472, the libwacom Device IDs List doesn't show the Wacom One CTL-472 as compatible. It's very recent as I can see. Try reporting the problems with your tablet to libwacom devs and wait for a update or instructions.

I found a cure for my tablet. I installed AUR package input-wacom-dkms, then updated linux headers, rebooted the machine and tablet is working and xsetwacom finds the device.
