Looking for a working USB3-HDMI adapter

Hi smile

I have Y50-70 and want 2 external monitors. I only have 1 HDMI port and would like to use a USB3-HDMI adapter for a second external monitor.

I have encountered experimental support for DisplayLink, but of course I prefer to spend money on stuff that I know that work in advance.

Also I have FrescoLogic Thin2000 adapter, which I couldn't find a driver for.

Do you guys know about a supported device?

*Sorry if this is the wrong forum hmm

There seem to be efforts at a driver for your device, but xorg support may be not there yet.

Yeah I found it about half an hour ago, I compiled everything without errors and `insmod`-ed the `.ko` file but nothing displayed.

The device is recognized by the tests file as 1024x768 but again nothing displayed.

I believe it is related to that there's no xorg support?

Also my laptop fails to respond after a while.

Anyone has any experience with this driver?
