Hi! I have a problem that I believe it's related to Xorg. I'm not able to log in to my accounts using any DE that uses Xorg. I can still use Gnome on Wayland, Sway or weston. Gnome doesn't work with my usual user neither, but I don't know whether it's a related issue or not. This issue started when I updated my system, but as I had over 400 packages to update since the last time I updated (i know, i know...) I can't trace the problem back to any of them.
Output from
journalctl
Output from
sudo journalctl
~/.local/share/xorg/Xorg.0.log
contains basically the same.

Welcome to the arch linux forums archuser23322.
Feb 26 13:23:54 laptop /usr/lib/gdm/gdm-x-session[738]: (==) Using config file: "/etc/X11/xorg.conf"
So what is the contents of that config file?

Solving the problem at first try is probably one of the best ways to welcome somebody to the forum :) Thank you so much.
I tried renaming the file to xorg.conf.bak to see what happened when this file wasn't loaded during the startup process and it worked flawlessly.
This are the contents of the file:
Section "Device"
Identifier "Card0"
Driver "intel_backlight"
Option "Backlight" "/sys/class/backlight/intel_backlight/brightness"
EndSection
I actually can't remember if I created this file myself. Do you have any idea of what its purpose might be?

Apparently you tried to configure the backlight device.
Other than this, the section is complete bonkers. It makes no sense and the entries are illegal (there's no "intel_backlight" device driver)
