Since the last update to plasma v 5.12.2-1 when I plug a usb drive in and select "Open in File Manager" from the Device manager popup I get a window popping up saying "Malformed url", but if I click "OK" and then click the device manager icon again, and select the same option as before, it opens the Dophin window without any problem and the usb drive is mounted and accessible. I reported upstream at https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=391381 but until this is fixed in a future version I wonder if anyone has any suggestion for a workaround? It is a non-critical bug but an annoying one if you are using usb drives a lot.

I have the same issue too.
I'm still learning English so please excuse me if my English is not good enough and feel free to correct me via PM if you want.

I have also been experiencing this issue for a few weeks. Still no fix?

Read the bug report: it is an upstream issue. And don't empty post: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Co … mpty_posts

Accroding to this bug, it's likely an issue with udisks2 w/ libmount.
I have tried to rebuild udisks2 without enabling libmount support as described in above github issue, and it fixes the malformed url problem for me. (Another confirmation of this workaround is under the upstream bug)
Hope this info helps.
