NetworkManager won't connect

Hello !
I need to use networkmanager to connect to my university network. I followed the wiki about it.
Unfortunatly, I can only see the wifi network but can't connect to them. First I could fill the prompt for password of secured networks, but it doesn't connect to them. And now I can't even fill the prompt, it doesn't appear anymore.I can only connect to unsecured wifi networks.

I installed networkmanager with the following command:

sudo pacman -S networkmanager

The wiki said that I should install a keyring package to see a prompt for password and installed  the gnome-keyring package with:

sudo pacman -S gnome-keyring

To see the networkmanager icon applet appear on polybar, I have to use this command:

nm-applet --no-agent

I've set my hostname as well and enabled the NetworkManager.service in the systemd. I've checked if any other network service was running, but only networkmanager service is active.

polybar is not set correctly for now, I use this commande to make it appear:

polybar example

I don't use Gnome, I use i3 as a tiling window manager. And yes, I set my wifi interface up before trying to connect to the networks. The networkmanager works with ethernet, but not for secured wifi networks.

Re: NetworkManager won't connect

Does:

# journalctl -u NetworkManager

reveal any interesting information about what it's doing under the hood?
