[SOLVED] Dropbox Error - Can't Monitor Dropbox Folder

My typical use case for my Arch laptop is to close the lid and suspend and open and use.  I tend to patch about every 2-3 days and reboot.  I have Dropbox installed. because certain apps I use require it for sync.

Here is the issue I am having with Dropbox.  When I boot up, it works just fine.  If I quit out of it and relaunch it or resume from suspend, the icon is greyed out and has a red x through it.  When I click to bring the menu up, it says in the menu "Can't monitor Dropbox folder (click to fix)"  When I click on that, it bring up a dialog to enter my password, except it won't let type anything.  All I can do is clink OK or Cancel.  The only way to get Dropbox working again is to reboot the laptop.  Logout and Login may work.  I haven't tried that yet.  When it happens, I used it as an opportunity to patch and reboot.

Anyone seen anything like this with Dropbox?

I can't help with your error but I find dropbox-cli continues to work after suspend.

I use this python script to turn dropbox-cli on and off from my openbox menu and it shows status of sync through conky, which I think eliminates the need for the gui:
